Floating Bombs or Airborne Mines are hazards introduced in Cactus McCoy and The Curse of Thorns. They are encountered only in Sunset Gulch.
These bombs spawn randomly in the air and descend slowly, attacking from above. They tend to align themselves towards the McCoy's position. Upon reaching the ground, these bombs explode. It is best to either avoid or destroy them by hitting them. Punching also works without causing damage to the player.
