Heavy Swinging Enemigo are two type of Enemigo that wields a swinging weapon. Its difference from a White Swinging Enemigo is that while a White Swinging Enemigo carries a weapon that swings horizontally and is usually one-handed (e. g. Machete, Pipe, etc.), they carry a weapon that swings vertically and requires two hands(e. g. Cactus, 2 x 4, etc.).

There are two types of Heavy Swinging Enemigos; Green, and Brown/Blue. Brown/Blue Swinging Enemigo carries a weapon with both hands separated, while Green Swinging Enemigo carries a weapon with both hands together.

Strength[]

Green[]

Being the weakest type of Enemigo after Scarecrow, it takes 10 punches to kill him in Cactus McCoy and The Curse of Thorns at a Punching Level of 1. In the second game, however, the number of punches required to kill him increases to 10 punches in Areas 1 to 5 and 15 punches in Areas 5 to 12 at again a Punching Level of 1.

Brown/Blue[]

In the first game, it's the second most resistant type of Enemigo, alongside the Whipping Enemigo. It can be killed with the damage of 20 punching level 1 fists. Their health remains the same in Cactus McCoy 2: The Ruins of Calavera. It can be killed with the damage of 20 punching level 1 fists, and 30 in areas 5 to 12 in Cactus McCoy 2.

Appearance[]

Green[]

As their unofficial name implies, a Green Swinging Enemigo is completely clothed with green clothes and he wears a green angler's hat.

In Cactus McCoy 2, they are slightly different. Their outfits consist of green shirts and brown waistcoats, and now wear a green bandanna instead. In later levels, they wear a fedora with a green band, along with a green scarf covering their faces. In jungle-themed levels, they wear (like most jungle-based enemigos) grass skirts and furry boots. They wear masks that have eyes with green eyelids, and a wide mouth with buck teeth jutting from the lower jaw, and green lips. Their bodies are painted green.

Brown/Blue[]

In the first game, the Brown Enemigos wear brown pants, an open waistcoat and white dress shirt. They wear a tall brown Stetson hat.

In the second game, they now wear blue outfits, and wear blue bandannas. They also have a brown medium sized chinstrap beard. In later levels, they wear a small almost conical brown hat, and a blue scarf that covers their faces. In jungle-themed levels, they wear (like most jungle-based enemigos) grass skirts and furry boots. They wear masks that have blue outlines, triangle shaped eyes, a small grin, and blue patterns. Their bodies are painted blue.

Weapons[]

Green[]

The Green Enemigo wield a rather diverse arsenal, with either a Cactus, 2x4, Shovel, Bat, Bone, Club, Banjo, Guitars, Katana, Macana, or a Longsword.

Brown/Blue[]

Their choice of weapons are more muted. Usually seen with either a Pickaxe, Mallet, Axe, Morningstar, Pool Cue, or Scythe
