Sheriff badges are a throwing weapon that appear in Cactus McCoy 1. They work like a ninja star. It needs to be thrown 42 times in order to consume it completely. It can either be found on the ground, dropped by a Throwing Enemigo, and sometimes after smashing a Bramble bush.

Can be found in

Cactus Canyon (Area 1 - most commonly found)
Midnight Express (Area 6 - a throwing Enemigo drops it)
Emerald Temple (Area 11 - a throwing Enemigo drops it)

Etymology

A sheriff badge is an accessory that a sheriff of a town used to wear in Wild West times.

Glitches

A glitch appears in Cactus McCoy 1 where, oddly, if the player is running out of Sheriff badges, they can drop theirs and pick it back up, and will have a full amount of badges then.
